Since 2007 this space has been dedicated exclusively to the seventh art. Its name refers to its capacity: it has 40 seats, transforming it into a refuge for movie lovers.

Although it has an extensive program of art cinema, this cultural space develops multiple artistic activities in its facilities. It has more than two decades as part of the unforgettable cultural circuit of downtown Santiago.

Located in the heart of Barrio Lastarria, the facilities of the cinema and its surroundings recall part of the old city. It has been a bastion and protagonist for the development of art cinema in Santiago.

Located in facilities dating from the 50s, here they project important audiovisual pieces and encourage those films that do not reach the multiplexes of international channels.
Inaugurated 10 years ago, the Cinematheque seeks conservation and dissemination of the national audiovisual heritage. It has a movie theater (210 seats) and a cinema (40 seats) for the exhibition of audiovisual works.

This room, located at the Catholic University, is one of the most important centers for the dissemination of films, since they have regular programming and quality technical installations for the exhibition of films.
